Rock and Roll
It is hard to believe, but there was once a time when there was no rock music. Most historians trace the beginning rock back to the year 1954, when a new type of music, then called Rock and Roll, appeared and revolutionized musical tastes, at least among young people, and pretty much changed the world.
This new music, of course did not develop in a vacuum, but resulted from the convergence of two musical styles, Rhythm and Blues and Country, as well as a series of technological developments that created a new market for music. (to read more, click here)

Well, I'm not a rock'n'roll fan, but I like some songs from Red Hot Chili Peppers. Do you know "Californication? I think this song is very nice. It reminds me of a trip I took when I was 14.

Actually, I do not like rock music that much.I appreciate dfferent mucical styles, rock is not my favorite definitely. As I am not that fan I am not able to recognize all the bands above but ROLLING STONES is a good representation of the rock style, isn´t it?
ResponderExcluirAbout the changes on the rock style, I find all the musical style tend to change in a every specific detail. Things change... and tastes too. So, one musical style make use of some characteristics of another one. Those good fans for rock know that the rockn´roll nowadays is not as those old times!!!
Anyway, the rock style atract hundreds, I mean million of people around the world!!!!
